Something everyone should know -- but I still disagree. Apps absolutely have to be accessing our microphones etc. There are too many instances where people have merely mentioned something, no search on their phone, no digital footprint or intent ANYWHERE and an ad will pop up in their feed. What do you think?

This is creepy. I'm convinced that apps are tapping into our microphone, camera, and I think the Facebook apps are the most aggressive offenders. So many ads have landed in my feed that could have only been based on listening to my conversations. Not once, not twice, but multiple times. I had an unmarried friend tell me about a discussion she was having with someone at work about a vasectomy...the next day she had an ad in her feed for vasectomy doctors in her area. There's zero chance that she searched for anything that would have sorted her into a digital ad bucket for that ad. Facebook was listening.
