Halloween Family Day at Balboa Park – October 26 is Family Day in Balboa Park. Kids can attend Balboa Park museums for free with a paying adult. Costume parades, hands-on activities, crafts, tours, and storytelling will also be a part of this exciting event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check here for the full list of activities.
Halloween Fun at Birch Aquarium – The spooktacular event will be held October 22 and 23 from 6-9 p.m. Come dressed in costumes and participate in wacky, mad scientist experiments, slimy encounters, and explore sea-themed stations for tricky treats. Boogie to live music and encounter creeps from the deep. RSVP for this activity and pay $15 for this thrilling activity.
Legoland Brick or Treat – The month of October, Legoland has added several activities for celebrating Halloween. Every Saturday and Sunday, follow the Brick-or-Treat Trail with ten Lego-themed treat stations offering candy, snacks and surprises. Saturday nights also include a costume contest for children 12 and under with the themes of Lego, Kingdom and Creative. Prizes are awarded. Fireworks, entertaining shows and other activities are also included on Saturday nights in October.
Sea World’s Spooktacular – Weekends through October 27th, families can enjoy silly spooky shows, fun-fishy activities and photo ops with whacky characters. Go in costume and trick or treat at one of San Diego’s top attractions.
