Now, I know that Macy’s feels that it’s the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade that brings in Old Saint Nick and starts off the holiday season, but last night Santa Claus arrived at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway! Last night I had the most wonderful time attending the pre-opening show of Glittering Lights, with my family. Clearly, this is an event we will be attending for years to come. Perhaps a new tradition to roll out the holiday season!
Glittering Lights is a fabulous holiday event that everyone needs to see! A true spectacle of lights and sound. Simply tune your radio to the assigned station for Christmas songs and fun stories from some of today’s stars. It is Nevada’s largest holiday light show with more than one million LED lights along a 2.5 mile drive-through course! It opens Friday November 18th and runs through January 1st. Admission is $15 per car; $1 per person for buses, with a $20 minimum. Buses must be under 11 feet high. They do have specials, too! You can even visit Santa’s Village where you can enjoy hot cocoa and concessions, plus have your picture taken with Santa himself! We can’t wait to see our family picture!
Miss Nevada Alana Lee was there to sing the first Christmas song of the season, Winter Wonderland. A perfect song for Glittering Lights, as it is truly a winter wonderland of lights, design and total family fun!
