Back To School Crafts

I had to laugh recently while we were watching The Muppets during family movie night.

As Mary told the kids about their two week break from school, they actually sounded bummed. Although that would be great for kids to love school so much that they don’t want to leave, that’s not always the case. Now that Texas kids are back in school for the new year, some fun crafts and snacks might just give them an extra boost as they leave Summer behind. There’s also some fun organizational ideas for Mom!

Nothing reminds the neighborhood of Back to School time quite like a Ruler Wreathhanging from your door! Great idea from Polka Dot Chair.

This Back to School Place Setting featured on The CSI Project is too cute. Would be adorable for breakfast or dinner!

I’m sure kids wouldn’t mind these Apple Oreo Pops as an after school snack. Great idea from The Idea Room!

If you have kids in Elementary School, chances are some awesome art is going to be headed your way very soon. I love this Children’s Artwork Display idea from Lolly Jane. Perfect for showing off AND keeping it fresh.

I’m a fan of subway art and this Back to School freebie from Sweet Coconut Lime is no exception. Isn’t it fabulous!

Ain’t no party like a Back to School party! Love the chalkboard table with this idea from Just Call Me Martha featured on Sweet Designs.

This Dry Erase Clipboard from The 36th Avenue is sure to help Mom stay organized!

Love One Charming Party’s idea of putting magnetic letters in the vase for this Back To School Flower Bouquet.

These School Supplies Decorations from Woman’s Day are bordering on making your cupcakes too cute to eat!

Another one to help Mom…a Door Organizer from C.R.A.F.T.

Here’s hoping your kids are jumping for joy that it’s Back to School time. If they’re not, give them an apple oreo pop. Or two!
