6. FLOURISH: BALANCE FOR HOMESCHOOL MOMS BY MARY JO TATE

I often hear the word “balance” and chuckle to myself, because it is the elusive term that gets thrown around like it can somehow magically appear if we do more nature walks and fewer lapbooks. As a work-from-home mom, as well as a homeschooling mom, I know that balance is tough to find. Flourish, however, gives me hope. It is a book that is well-timed in my life and one that reassures me that I am not alone in this homeschooling/working lifestyle.

7. TEACHING FROM REST: A HOMESCHOOLER’S GUIDE TO UNSHAKABLE PEACE BY SARAH MACKENZIE

Throw off the mantle of perfection and strive for peace instead. For those of us super-anxious homeschooling mamas, Sarah’s book is like a breath of fresh air. Reassurance, beautiful words, and comfort in one must-have book.
