Bread Stuffing Recipe

A delicious, basic bread stuffing recipe for turkey, this recipe for bread stuffing is perfect for Thanksgiving dinner!

There's nothing quite like the taste of an old-fashioned bread stuffing recipe on Thanksgiving. It reminders me of stuffing that my grandmothers used to make and just makes it feel like the holidays. The recipe takes awhile because of the time it takes to cook the turkey, but if you don't want to cook it in the turkey, place it in a baking dish instead. I'm more of an "out of the turkey" kind of stuffing girl myself, because I like how it gets crunchy on top. No matter how you cook it, enjoy!

Basic Bread Stuffing Recipe

  7. Add the sage.
  8. Pour chicken broth slowly over bread being careful not to add too much.

  10. Stuffing should be at the consistency that it sticks together but is not too mushy.
  11. Stuff in turkey to be baked in oven, or put in 9 x 13 pan.
  12. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour in pan or for required time based on size if stuffed in the turkey.

Enjoy!
