10 Chocolate Shakeology Recipes

Chocolate is, by far, my favorite Shakeology flavor. I love it.

It’s my shake BFF and on those rare days when I miss it, I really, really miss it. Although I’m a creature of habit and have my go-to shake recipe, it’s always good to have alternatives for those sad, sad days when you run out of bananas and want to cry. So, here are 10 Chocolate Shakeology recipes that you can fall back on if you run out of bananas too. If you’re more of a Vanilla Shakeology kind of person, check out these recipes instead.

10 Chocolate Shakeology Recipes

*I recommend always using a blender to blend things up. Sometimes the shaker cup just doesn’t mix everything up enough.

1. CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BANANA SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1/2 banana
1 teaspoon natural peanut butter
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
1-2 greens of mixed organic kale and spinach
4-5 ice cubes
water

This is my absolute favorite, go to recipe. It’s scrumptious! Adjust the greens according to your taste. Two greens is perfect for me, but my family prefers one.

1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
1/4 teaspoon of mint extract
4-5 ice cubes
water

This recipe gives you that delicious chocolate mint cookie taste. I’d highly recommend not putting kale in with this one…unless you like chocolate cookies with kale. Trust me on this one.

3. CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1 purple of frozen strawberries
1 green of kale/spinach mix
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
water

I love making this with frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones, because it’s a substitute for adding ice cubes. Of course, you can certainly use fresh ones and just add ice cubes.

4. CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1 purple of frozen raspberries
1 green of kale/spinach mix
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
water

As with the strawberries, I like using frozen raspberries for this.

5. CHOCOLATE VANILLA COFFEE SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1 cup of cold coffee
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
4-5 ice cubes
water

If you’re a coffee addict (like me!), this is a great way to get some coffee into your post-workout shake.

6. CHERRY BANANA BLAST SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1/2 banana
1/2 purple of pitted cherries
1 green of kale/spinach mix
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
water

7. ALMOND CHOCOLATE COFFEE SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup of cold coffee
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
4-5 ice cubes
water

Another coffee recipe – delish!

8. CHOCOLATE BANANA BLUEBERRY SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1/2 banana
1/2 purple of frozen blueberry
1 green of kale/spinach mix
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
4-5 ice cubes
water

We flash freeze our fresh blueberries, because we love to eat them cold. In fact, the kids go through them so quickly when they’re frozen that we rarely have time to make this version of the shake.

9. CHOCOLATE PUMPKIN PIE SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1/2 green of pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
4-5 ice cubes
Almond milk

I like this with vanilla Shakeology as well. It has a totally different flavor.

10. CHOCOLATE ALMOND VANILLA SHAKEOLOGY RECIPE

1 teaspoon of natural almond butter
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 green of kale/spinach mix
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology
Almond milk

It’s yummy and you can’t taste the kale/spinach mix. You can also swap out the almond milk for water.
