Chocolate Turtle Bars

Try some chocolatey, caramel goodness with this easy Chocolate Turtle Bars recipe!

Do you love chocolate turtles? We do for sure! We usually enjoy them the most around the holidays but last week I had a huge craving for these sweet caramel treats and decided to come up with a new and very simple version to make on days when I need a little chocolate and a little caramel!

These are so easy, my 12-year-old son made a batch himself and they turned out perfectly! Guess what else, they only take three or four ingredients to make and you likely have them all on hand in your kitchen now!

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Bag of Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Bag of Caramel Pieces
  • 2 Cups Pretzels
  • Sea Salt (optional but delicious)

Start by melting the bag of chocolate chips in the microwave on high heat until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture out on a cookie sheet that’s covered with parchment paper. Smooth it into a large rectangle. Layer the pretzels on top and slightly push into the chocolate. Next, melt the caramel before spreading on top of the pretzels. Drizzle chocolate over the caramel and sprinkle the sea salt on top. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until hardened. Cut into bars or break into pieces. Enjoy!

These No Bake Chocolate Turtle Bars are a great Christmas gift idea for neighbors, friends or teachers too. Find a cute tin and make a batch to package up and give out. It’s a delicious homemade gift idea that doesn’t get much easier to make! Add a few Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies and your friends will be in heaven!
