LOW-MESS CUPCAKE LINER JELLY FISH CRAFT

This low-mess jelly fish craft is perfect for summer!

Some of our very favorite kids' books have been published by Page Street Publishing, so when they asked us to partner with them to help promote Low-Mess Crafts for Kids by Debbie Chapman, we were so excited!

This gorgeous book is the perfect boredom buster. You can just hand it to your kiddo and tell them to get crafting. And the best part is that EVERY SINGLE CRAFT is low-mess... so there won't be tons of clean up after! Hooray!

We decided to dive right into the beautiful pages filled with color photos and try a project for ourselves. The minute I found this Cupcake Liner Jelly Fish craft, I knew I'd found gold. We had all the supplies in our cabinets already, and aren't those the best kinds of projects?!

Cupcake Liner Jelly Fish

Here's what you need to make a cupcake liner jelly fish:

  • 2 solid colored cupcake liners
  • Gift ribbon
  • Clear tape
  • Craft tape
  • Googly eyes

Start by cutting your gift ribbon into 12 pieces that are 18 inches long each. Tape the ribbon onto the top of one of the cupcake liners, so that it hangs down the sides to form the tails of the jelly fish.

Go all the way around the cupcake liner, taping the ribbon as you go so it hangs down every side.

Run the craft tape along the top of the taped cupcake liner and press the second one onto the top, covering the tape and the top parts of the ribbon.

Use the craft tape to add two googly eyes to your jelly fish!

Easy, peasy, and so cute!

Low-Mess Crafts for Kids is just what every mom needs this summer -- a book filled with simple crafts that your kids can do on their own with very little adult direction.

Each chapter gives children the opportunity to create a world of their own, with each project connecting together to create a gorgeous play scene that children can enjoy for hours. Plus, there are supply lists for every chapter, so you can be sure to have everything you need on hand for when your kids are ready to create!
