"Can you help me with my homework?" is the most dreaded question any parent faces...

It's been so long since most of us have done algebra. Or geometry. Or chemistry. Or, let's face it: once you're out of high school, once you've walked the stage in college, a lot of this never ever comes up again. What even is an integer anyway? And why are we dividing by two? Didn't we just multiply that part? Why are there two letters in this one!?!

Basically, there's a point in almost every parent's life when helping your kids with homework just isn't really an option anymore. It isn't that you don't want to help, but at some point you have to admit to yourselves, and probably the kids, that you have no idea what they're doing.

It's a sad day. A humbling day. A day filled with a lot of tears...usually from the parents...and at some point we've all been there. "Can you help me with my homework?" No, sorry kid, I can not.
