Attach yarn to un-worked front loop on Rnd 2; Ch 2, (yo, insert hook in same stitch, bring up a loop) twice, yo, draw through 3 loops on hook, yo, draw through last 2 loops on hook. Instead of securing end as usual by pulling up a loop and drawing the end through the loop and tightening. Pull up the loop until the end comes out. Secure. This will produce a more pointed ear.

Repeat for other ear. Fasten off, secure ends.

Finishing:

Place cover over lollipop. Glue eyes to face. Cut short lengths of Orange embroidery floss for whiskers and glue to face as shown in photo above. Cut a short piece of Orange yarn and weave through Rnd 4, tie in a bow at front, drawing the cover around the stick of the lollipop. Glue a short length of Red embroidery floss to face for a mouth if desired. Enjoy!
